Dr. Ileana Perez-Quintairos has been practicing dermatology and cosmetic surgery since 1994. After graduating from the University of South Florida’s College of Medicine, Dr. Perez-Quintairos completed her residency in Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery in Tampa and then continued her training through a fellowship in cosmetic surgery in Minnesota where she became the first dermatologist to be board certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery in Florida. During her career she has published several articles in medical journals and has written several chapters in medical textbooks.

As an active member of the community, she often lectures on radio stations, television programs as well as at community schools and hospital conferences. Dr. Perez-Quintairos is a Voluntary Assistant Professor at the University of Miami School of Medicine in Advanced Dermatologic Surgery. She has also been an Examiner for the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery on several occasions and she is a past member of the Board of Trustees for the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery.

Dr. Perez-Quintairos established Sunset Dermatology in 2006 and opened her current state of the art facility in South Miami in 2011. She is a leader in her field and is dedicated to maintaining a reputation of excellence in both cosmetic surgery and dermatologic care. Dr. Perez-Quintairos specializes in achieving a completely natural appearance for all of her patients. She emphasizes patient safety with proven procedures in all aspects of her practice and is proud to offer the most advanced and scientifically proven treatments in general and cosmetic dermatology.

Dr. Perez-Quintairos married her high school sweetheart, George Quintairos, and they have two children, Nicky and Katerina. Dr. Perez-Quintairos most enjoys vacationing with her family to concerts and Broadway shows around the country.
