Jannel Pichardo was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She graduated in 2006 from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science in health sciences and a minor in biology. She graduated in 2010 as a Physician Assistant from Miami-Dade college. In 2011, she completed a Physician Assistant Dermatology Fellowship in Washington, D.C.

Jannel has many years of specialized training in various skin conditions and dermatologic surgical procedures. She has a special interest in disorders of pigmentation and enjoys customizing treatments for these conditions with modern pharmacology and peels, many times combined with the technology of lasers.

Her passion is missionary work. She leads a medical team and enjoys traveling to different countries to treat patients. She has a heart to serve and truly cares about the well being of her patients here and around the world.

Jannel is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Jannel loves to explore new places in Miami and try new foods. She also has a passion for hiking and traveling.
