Dr. Chamorro is a board-certified dermatologist. She received her undergraduate education at Vanderbilt University, majoring in Neuroscience and her medical education at Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. Dr. Chamorro initially completed her Internal Medicine residency training program at Columbia University/New York-Presbyterian Hospital, where she later worked in hospital medicine at Columbia University/New York-Presbyterian Hospital for three years. She completed a research fellowship at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School studying the use of reflectance confocal microscopy in the evaluation of skin neoplasms and psoriasis. Dr. Chamorro then completed her dermatology residency at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey, where she served as chief resident. Dr. Chamorro has special interests in general medical dermatology and cosmetic dermatology.
